Welcome to Prees Cricket and Recreation Club


The Club is now open for Members . Social distancing, in line with the Government coronavirus guidelines, must be adhered to.


Superb function room for hire. Prees Cricket and Recreation Club has wonderful sports facilities for soccer, crown green bowling, cricket, snooker, pool, karate, weightlifting, 3G all weather football pitch and darts. For more details please click on the 'Activities and Fixtures' page.

The club has large screen TV with Sky and BT TV for that big sporting occasion.

There is also a superb function room available for hire for private functions. We can also provide a superb buffet should you require one.

We also have space for advertising banners to promote your business. This will be visible to a large number of people throughout the year. For further information please contact the club.

Membership is 10 pa for adults, 5 for Seniors (over 70's) and 25 for a Family Membership

2020 AGM will be held at 7.30 on February 12th at the Club. All members are welcome.

After 46 years a Prees team have finally won the Whitchurch League Jubilee Doubles, beating Audlem A in the final, held at Nantwich Park Road Bowls Club.  Our team for the final,  captained by Matt Blackhurst was:

To get to the final, Prees A beat: Woore A, Hammer A, Chester Road C, AWC C, and Malpas Sports A.  Team members also included: Dave Bradbury, Vin Lines, Richard Wildigg, and John Smith. Well done to the lads, and one lass!




On Wednesday June 26th, Alison Williamson, on behalf of Sport England, conducted a Volunteers Workshop at the Club. The session was attended by volunteers from all sections of the Club and was an enjoyable evening. Alison is an Olympic Archer and has represented England at the last 6 Olympics winning a bronze medal in Athens. Alison also won 2 silver medals at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. Alison is pictured here with Emma Passant of Shropshire Council Leisure Services and the attendees. John Groom is holding the Olympic Torch which was carried by Alison in 2012 through  part of Shropshire.
